- These hardened steel inserts are an ideal tool for cutting rock, trimming stones, shaping and chasing out channels.
- They are simply pressed into either end of the double ended Scutch Hammer and pressed out sideways when blunt.
- All combs have two edges per tip.
- These Hammers have either a slotted end at either one or both ends. This slot is for holding a scutch comb (1″ Comb, Blade, or Marble Comb) for many purposes. Cleaning up stones without the inconvenience of a chisel, or chasing grooves into walls. Double Ended allows you to have two types of Comb in one tool, and single ended provides you with a hammer face.
